Widely regarded as one of Ireland’s favourite live acts, The High Kings are giving fans an early Christmas present with the announcement that they will perform for the first time at the Termon Complex Pettigo this December. The fully-seated concert will take place on Sunday 1stDecember at 8pm.
Tickets for this very special festive performance are on sale now and Termon Complex Manager, Linda Dunlop has assured all music fans that is one not to miss.
Reacting to the announcement that the band will play at the venue in December, Linda said;
‘I am truly delighted that we have been able to secure an act of the calibre of the High Kings for the Termon Complex stage. Over the past few years we have hosted a number of big name acts from Christy Moore, to Phil Coulter and Brendan Grace, but there is a real excitement since the news about the High Kings coming to Pettigo broke and what better way to begin those festive celebrations this December.’
The High Kings have been entertaining audiences across the globe since 2008 when four Irish singers, songwriters and performers brought their talents together to create a ballad supergroup, the like of which had not been seen in Ireland since the heyday of the Clancy Brothers and The Dubliners. The group received widespread acclaim and even approval from the likes of their musical heroes including the legendary Ronnie Drew. Their subsequent albums have stormed music charts internationally and in 2017 they released a celebratory – Decade: Best of the High Kings album which solidified their position as one of the most popular groups in the music business.
